Preschool and Pre-K

Holy Trinity Preschool has been operating for six years and strives to create an environment where children can interact with other children and adults in an atmosphere of Christian respect, concern and cooperation.

The basic objectives of our preschool programs are to help children increase their independence, develop confidence in their abilities, learn school routines, improve their social skills, enjoy the dynamics of a group setting and develop a love of school and learning.

Holy Trinity Preschool is located in the middle building behind the Holy Trinity K-8 school building.

For questions regarding the preschool and registration, please e-mail Tracy Boeye at tracey.boeye@leeca.org or call 440 937 6420 and ask for the preschool.

  • In addition to each teacher, there is a full time aide in the classroom to assist with regular classroom activities as well as an additional aide to manage momentary individual needs.

Religion

Religion readiness is an integral part of the Catholic Preschool Program.  Children will participate in age appropriate classroom prayer and religion lessons.  These experiences will teach children that they are children of God and will grow in God’s love.

Technology

The children in our four and five year old programs visit our K-8 computer lab for computer education every week.  The preschool classrooms have been updated to include Smartboards.

Library

All preschool children visit the K-8 library every week for a story.  Children in the four and five year old programs are allowed to select and bring home books.

Play

The preschool facility features an outdoor playground, separate indoor playroom and dramatic play centers within each classroom.  All preschool children play with their peers daily, allowing each child the opportunity to improve their social interaction and fine and gross motor skills.

K-8 School Relations

In addition to visits to the computer lab and the library, the preschoolers have many opportunities to participate in other big school activities.  Regular interaction allows children to learn about the “big school” community and become excited about entering kindergarten.
