Background and Interests: Mr. Kaufhold is a familiar face to many students and families at Holy Trinity, having previously served as the junior high social studies teacher. He brings a strong background in teaching and leadership, along with a deep commitment to Catholic education. Over the past year and a half, he has also served as Director of Religious Education for the Avon Catholic Community, where he helped build a unified faith formation program that now serves over 400 students.

In the classroom, Mr. Kaufhold is known for his creativity and dynamic approach to lessons, always striving to inspire young Catholics to grow in their relationship with Christ. He believes in finding new and engaging ways to teach the faith, while fostering a positive and faith-centered learning environment. His dedication ensures that students are challenged academically and supported spiritually.

Outside of work, Mr. Kaufhold enjoys traveling with his wife Clare to both historical destinations and scenic hiking spots in nature. Together, they love to explore new places and also spend time at home taking walks with their golden doodle, Charlie.
