Catholic Environment
Holy Trinity faculty and staff work together to create a Catholic caring environment in a traditional school setting that encourages young students to increase their confidence, improve their social skills and develop a love of school and learning. Some of the basic pillars of the Catholic religion, “God made you, God loves you and God wants you to be kind to other people,” are taught with daily prayer, behavior suggestions and age appropriate religious instruction utilizing the Discovering God’s Love series by Sadler-Meyer.
Licensed and Experienced Teachers
Our teachers are fully licensed and certified by the State of Ohio and have both primary and preschool teaching experience. In addition to each teacher, there is a full time educational aide in every classroom to assist with regular classroom activities. There is another full time educational aide on staff to prepare class materials and help with students’ individual needs.
Kindergarten Preparation
Scholastic Big Day in Pre-K, Fundations (reading), Bridges (math) curriculums are used to develop and practice Kindergarten readiness skills in reading, writing, math, social studies and science. Students in our Half Day and Full Day Pre-Kindergarten classes visit our K-8 school building regularly to prepare for their transition to Kindergarten and select books from our library.

While each child comes to us with varying backgrounds and abilities, Holy Trinity recommends parents use this general overview of skills and attributes to help determine their child's readiness for a particular class.
Preschool Classroom Expectations
Advanced Technology
All preschool classrooms are equipped with interactive preschool friendly interactive boards to help develop technology skills. Students in our Pre-K classes attend weekly computer classes.
Time for Play
The preschool facility features an outdoor playground. All classes take a short play break and eat a snack every day to help students develop their social and gross motor skills and refresh them for additional instruction.
