Ms. Sherman has been working in ministry for five years and joined the Avon Catholic Community in June 2024. She began her role as the Middle School Youth Minister and, as of January 2025, now serves as the High School Youth Minister. Ms. Sherman is passionate about walking with young people in their faith and creating meaningful opportunities for them to encounter Christ.

Before coming to Avon, Ms. Sherman served with The Culture Project from 2020–2024. During her first two years, she traveled as a missionary, speaking to middle and high school students about human dignity and the importance of upholding the integrity of every person in our lives. From 2022–2024, she transitioned into management and human resources, helping advance the organization’s mission through leadership and support.

Outside of ministry, Ms. Sherman finds joy in exploring the beauty of nature, especially hiking and traveling to mountain destinations out west. She also enjoys discovering new coffee shops and spending quality time with family and friends. Her faith, love for community, and dedication to young people guide both her work and her life.
